In 2009, he earned a Three-Year Diploma in Electric Bass from the Saint Louis College of Music under the guidance of Maestro Gianfranco Gullotto, with whom he continued his advanced studies for an additional three years.In 2012, he graduated in Double Bass from the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali G. Briccialdi under the guidance of Maestro Franco Fraioli, while continuing his jazz studies with Daniele Mencarelli.In 2019, he obtained a Second-Level Academic Degree in Electric Bass, specializing in Jazz Composition and Arrangement, from the Conservatorio A. Casella under the guidance of Maestro Marco Siniscalco.Over the years, he attended seminars and workshops with internationally renowned artists including John Patitucci, Marcus Miller, Lincoln Goines, Matthew Garrison, Dario Deidda, Ares Tavolazzi, Tollak Ollestad, Pippo Matino, and Emmet Cohen.He has collaborated with Maestro Marco Angius as an orchestral electric bassist at the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale A. Belli, and has performed with both the Classical Orchestra and the Jazz Big Band of the Briccialdi Conservatory.From 2014 to 2016, he performed with the Perugia Big Band. In 2017, he recorded a live album with the “Diego Ruvidotti Quartet,” alongside Alessandro Bravo, Fabio D’Isanto, Franco Santarnecchi, Piero Borri, and Bernardo Guerra. He also collaborated in several live performances with Greta Panettieri’s quartet.He has performed with various ensembles, including the electro-jazz group “Ostinato,” appearing at festivals and venues such as Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival, Tuscia in Jazz, Alexanderplatz Jazz Club, and the Moods in Monte Carlo, sharing the stage with artists including Joy Garrison, Antonello Salis, Karl Potter, Toti Panzanelli, Giacomo Anselmi, and Alessandro Bravo.He has also been active in several jazz projects involving artists such as Carlo Atti, Fabrizio Mocata, Lorenzo Bisogno, Manuel Magrini, Angelo Lazzeri, Maurizio Marrani, Alessandro Paternesi, and others.Within the pop music scene, he has collaborated with various artists including Gatto Panceri.In 2018, he performed at the finals of the Premio Fabrizio De André at the Auditorium Parco della Musica alongside Livio Livrea.He currently collaborates with Riccardo Catria’s quartet and with the “Orchestra Magna” of Terni, with whom he recorded an album and performed twice at the international Visioninmusica festival.He is currently the bassist for Cecilia Brunori’s band “Reverse,” with whom he recorded an album and performed at concerts and festivals, including international appearances in Bali and Kuala Lumpur.He is also the leader, bassist, composer, arranger, and producer of his own septet “VìRDIGO,” featuring horn and rhythm sections, with which he has performed at various jazz festivals.

“VìRDIGO” started as the natural intersection of funk, jazz, and electronic music. Energetic bass and drum grooves support a four-piece horn section — tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, trumpet, and trombone — crafting simple, elegant, and impactful melodies.Modern synthesizers act as a connective element throughout the repertoire, supporting the band’s vision of creating music that is engaging and powerful, yet also experimental, where the artistic expression and improvisational voice of each musician play a central role.
